Mission Side Table

My own version of a Stickley piece, this simple design is actually very complex.

The construction features through mortise & tenon joints connecting quadralinear post legs.

The quadratic top is carefully fitted with blind mortise & tenon joints

to allow for the top to expand and contract.

Lastly, the finish is my "Ammonia Fumed Finish" including

tung oil, glazes, and shellac to impart the varied colors in the top
